LEVEL II CERTIFICATION
Level II Non-Commissioned Certification, you are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education every two years.
This recertification training ensures that you remain up to date with industry standards and Texas state laws as set by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau (PSB). The Level II Non-Commissioned Certification course is the foundational training required for individuals seeking to become non-commissioned (unarmed) security officers in Texas. LEVEL III CERTIFICATION
To receive your Level III Certification, you must complete the 45-hour (PSB) course, you are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education every two years mandated by the Texas Department of Public Safety. This certification is required for individuals seeking to work as commissioned (armed) security officers in Texas. Cost $259.00 (Special Rate) [Nonrefundable]

LEVEL II & III RENEWAL
Both the Level II Recertification and Level III Recertification courses are designed to ensure that security officers are prepared, knowledgeable, and compliant with state laws and industry standards. You are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education and recertify with a passing score on your firearm proficiency every two years to maintain your license. The renewal process can begin 90 days prior to the expiration date every two years.
